Measuring 270mm (approx. 10.6 inches) in length, this large-sized fid features a high-quality polished stainless steel conical tip paired with a comfortable, ergonomically shaped wooden handle. The tapered steel end smoothly separates the strands of 3-strand and 8-strand ropes, making it ideal for creating strong, reliable eye splices, end-to-end splices, and back splices in ropes up to 16–20mm in diameter.
