Installation Notes

• The DST810 requires a 52 mm diameter hole through the hull.
• Check the hull material and installation location before drilling.
• The DST810 should be installed in clean, non-aerated water flow.
• Avoid installation behind hull fittings, strakes, steps or other sources of turbulence.
• The gWind transducer should be installed horizontally at the masthead.
• The wind sensor should be aligned with the vessel’s centreline wherever possible.
• The mast cable must be routed from the masthead transducer to the GND 10 interface.
• A powered and correctly terminated NMEA 2000 network is required.
• Additional NMEA 2000 backbone components may be required.
• True wind calculations may require heading and boat-speed information.
• Professional installation is recommended, particularly where a new thru-hull fitting is required.
