Warehouse Operative
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager
CH Marine, one of Ireland's leading marine equipment suppliers, is seeking applicants for a Warehouse Operative in our busy and fast moving Skibbereen store.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process all goods inwards, includes checking stock in and adding to the system using the company handheld device
- Process all goods outwards, includes processing all web and sales orders on the system, packing and labelling
- Stock control: managing stock transfers and stock requests from 4 depots. Also managing all stock in and storing appropriately to include shop floor
- Picking and packing of all stock to meet order requirements and business needs
- Order processing on SAP B1
- Use of courier integrated terminals to process and track orders
Skills required
- Must have attention to detail, accuracy, orderliness and accountability
- Strong computer skills are essential, including Gmail, SAP B1, Big Commerce (e-commerce platform), WMS, Courier integrated terminals. Training can be given but experience on similar programs is essential
- Must have previous warehouse experience and knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to multitask, prioritise and work well under pressure
- Must be a team player with proven ability to work well with others
- Must be comfortable lifting and moving stock
- Valid driver’s licence essential
- Trailer licence advantageous
- Fork lift licence essential

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Salary: based on experience
