How to Use the Sowester Kayak Trolley

• Using the trolley is straightforward and designed for easy solo operation:Unfold the trolley and position it on the ground.
• Lift the stern (rear) of your kayak and place it onto the padded supports so the trolley sits near the back of the kayak (typically just behind the cockpit or toward the stern for balanced weight distribution).
• Slide the foam pads along the bars to adjust them snugly against the hull for a secure, protective fit.
• Wrap the included kayak strap around the hull and over the trolley's frame (usually securing it to the crossbars or legs), then tighten it firmly to hold the kayak in place—no wobbling during movement.
• Grab the front (bow) of the kayak and pull it forward like a wagon. The trolley rolls smoothly behind you, taking the weight of the rear while you guide from the bow. This setup keeps the kayak balanced and stable over various surfaces.
• When you reach the water, simply release the strap, lift the stern off the trolley, and you're ready to launch.
