B&G 608 Networked Wind Sensor

The B&G 608 Networked Wind Sensor is designed as a direct replacement for existing compatible B&G wind sensors. Installed at the masthead, it provides accurate wind speed and wind angle information to the vessel’s instrument system.

The 608 sensor is compatible with Triton² and Triton T41 systems and can be used with previous B&G 508 and IS20 wind sensor mast cables and brackets, making it a convenient replacement without requiring the complete mast wiring to be changed.

This product includes the masthead sensor only. A mast cable and mounting bracket are not supplied.

B&G identifies the 608 as a replacement sensor for ongoing service support and does not recommend it for completely new system installations. For a new wind instrument system, consider the latest B&G WS300 range.

Before ordering, confirm that the existing mast cable, connector and mounting bracket are compatible.
