Backband Strap Only - Type 1 - Non-Rachet Bolt Fitting

The Pyranha Backband Strap Only Non-Ratchet Bolt Fitting – Type 1 is a strong and dependable replacement strap designed to restore support and functionality to your kayak backrest system. Made from climbing-grade webbing with reinforced bartack stitching, it is built to handle heavy loads and demanding paddling conditions.

Fitted with a corrosion-resistant anodised speed buckle, similar to those used in climbing harnesses, it provides smooth and secure adjustment. A rubberised pull tab is included for easy grip and quick tightening, even in wet environments.

This Type 1 version features a non-ratchet design with a bolt fitting, making it suitable for setups that require direct attachment. Compatible with most Pyranha kayaks, it is an ideal replacement for worn or damaged backband straps.

Pyranha back band straps are designed to handle a serious amount of force, using a climbing grade, bartack stitched webbing construction, and featuring a highly corrosion resistant, anodized speed buckle such as those commonly found in climbing harnesses.

Available in Ratchet and Non-Ratchet formats, with the former featuring highly durable, injection moulded plastic, Everest ratchet strips.
