The Barton Size 5 Fiddle Variloc Becket & Cam Block is designed for larger cruising and racing yachts with nylon sheaves suitable for all ropes, including braided dyneema. Newly designed for 2019 onward,s the Barton Blocks are known as great value for money and practical for many applications. For racing applications, consider getting the ball bearing versions.
The Variloc Strip Shackle can be adjusted at 30º positions in relation to the sheave. Inverting the plastic locking piece converts the block to a swivel.
Barton Size 5 Blocks are high-load cruiser blocks of rugged construction, featuring injection moulded side plates with all load-carrying components from 316 grade stainless steel. Side plates are through-bolted and riveted for added strength and security.
The size 5 Barton Fiddle Blocks have a combination of twin inline plain or ball bearing sheaves, 38 and 64mm, making them a compact and efficient configuration. The range features high-grade glass fibre nylon reinforced moulded side plates, that are through-bolted and riveted with internal 316 stainless steel frame for added strength and durability.
This sleek and versatile range is engineered for use on larger cruising and racing yachts and is compatible with our ball bearing mainsheet traveller system
