Description
Epifanes Poly-urethane Clear Gloss and Clear Satin with UV Filter are two-component, polyester-saturated, aliphatic urethane finishes. The Clear Gloss provides a high-gloss finish with excellent outdoor durability, resistance to weathering, chemicals, scratching, and loss of gloss, along with outstanding flow characteristics for brush and spray applications. The Clear Satin provides a hard, scratch-resistant satin finish with superior protection against alcohol and other aggressive household chemicals. Both finishes offer sufficient elasticity for use on working wood. The Clear Gloss is suitable for indoor and outdoor use on non-working wood and plywood, as a UV-resistant protective finish over epoxy resin, or as an intermediate adhesion coat on epoxy-treated wood before applying Epifanes one-component varnishes. The Clear Satin is designed primarily as an interior satin finishing coat over existing polyurethane varnish systems, Epifanes PP Varnish Extra, or epoxy resin.
