Garmin 18x OEM GPS with LVC connection. The GPS 18x is an OEM, high-sensitivity GPS sensor for use in automotive, fleet vehicle, and electronics applications that require a small, highly accurate GPS receiver and Use in small spaces. 

Use in Small Spaces

This high-sensitivity, WAAS-enabled GPS receiver features 12 parallel channels and is offered in CMOS-level serial or USB 2.0 full-speed versions. An integrated magnetic base is included, while the compact 2.4" (6.1 cm) puck-style design and lightweight construction make it well suited to installations where available space is limited.

Choose Your Connection Type

Available in three cable configurations, the GPS 18x includes non-volatile memory for configuration storage, a real-time clock, and raw measurement output data to support advanced customer applications.

GPS 18x PC — Includes a DB-9 pin serial connector with a 12 V cigarette lighter adapter and supports output in NMEA 0183 (industry standard) or Garmin proprietary format.

GPS 18x USB — Comes with an A-style USB connector compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 full-speed hosts, with output available in Garmin proprietary format only.

GPS 18x LVC — Supplied with bare wire connections for use across a variety of applications. Supports NMEA 0183 (industry standard) and Garmin proprietary output formats, while also providing a pulse-per-second logic-level output with a rising edge accurate to within 1 microsecond of UTC time.

The GPS 18x OEM serves as the high-sensitivity replacement for the GPS 18 OEM sensor.
