The Garmin gWind Transducer is a direct replacement wind sensor for compatible Garmin gWind marine instrument systems. Designed for installation at the masthead, it measures wind speed and wind angle to provide accurate sailing data to the connected instrument network.

Its three-bladed propeller offers excellent sensitivity in light wind conditions, while Garmin’s twin-fin design helps deliver stable and reliable wind angle readings.

Compatibility

This replacement transducer is intended for Garmin gWind systems using the appropriate Garmin gWind mast cable and interface.

It is not a complete wind system and does not connect directly to an NMEA 2000 network without the required mast cable and Garmin network interface components.

For older Nexus or Nexus nWind installations, additional adapter components may be required. Please confirm the existing transducer, cabling and network configuration before ordering.
