LARGE-FORMAT MARINE DATA DISPLAY

The Garmin GNX 120 provides a clear, easy-to-read view of essential sailing, navigation and vessel information.

Its 7-inch, high-contrast monochrome LCD display is designed for installation on the mast, cockpit, helm station or instrument panel, allowing important information to be viewed clearly from a distance.

The display can show data such as:

• Apparent and true wind speed
• Apparent and true wind angle
• Boat speed
• Speed over ground
• Course over ground
• Vessel heading
• Water depth
• Water temperature
• Distance and bearing to waypoint

Available information depends on the sensors and equipment connected to the vessel’s NMEA 2000 network.

HIGH-CONTRAST GLASS-BONDED DISPLAY

The glass-bonded monochrome LCD provides excellent readability in demanding marine conditions.

The bonded construction helps prevent internal condensation and fogging, while the anti-glare finish improves visibility in bright sunlight.

CUSTOMISABLE DATA LAYOUTS

The GNX 120 offers five configurable display formats:

Users can configure the display to prioritise the information most relevant to navigation, racing or vessel monitoring.

DISPLAYS MORE THAN 50 MARINE PARAMETERS

When connected to compatible sensors and equipment, the GNX 120 can display more than 50 different marine and vessel parameters relating to wind, navigation, speed, depth, engine performance and electrical systems.

NMEA 2000 CONNECTIVITY

The GNX 120 connects directly to the vessel’s NMEA 2000 network for both power and data.

It can share information with compatible Garmin chartplotters, sensors and marine instruments connected to the same network.

The instrument does not directly accept NMEA 0183 data. However, NMEA 0183 information may be displayed when the source is connected through a compatible GNX 20, GNX 21 or suitable network interface.

OPTIONAL REMOTE KEYPAD CONTROL

The display can be controlled using a compatible Garmin GNX Keypad, available separately.

The optional keypad allows users to change pages, adjust backlighting, activate display presets and control multiple compatible GNX instruments from one location.

IDEAL FOR SAILING AND RACING

The large-format display is particularly suitable for sailing yachts where instrument data must remain visible from the cockpit or rail.

Multiple GNX 120 displays can be installed together to create a clear mast-mounted or cockpit instrument system for cruising and competitive sailing.

Important Installation Note

The GNX 120 must be connected to a correctly powered and terminated NMEA 2000 network.

The information available on the display depends on the sensors, chartplotters and other data sources installed on the network.
