Laser IRL Sail Letters 9"

9" IRL Sail Letters are designed for racing dinghies more than 3.5m long. This item only includes the I, R and L ordered separately.

Rules

• Boats racing under the Racing Rules of Sailing must display a Sail Number
• A boat racing under any rating rules such as IRC & ECHO must display an IRL Sail Number as prescribed by the ISA
• This sail number shall be in accordance with rule 77, Identification on Sails and Appendix G
• Applications including details of the boat are required to be completed before a number is issued
• By default the Sail Numbers remain with a boat when it is sold
• When a boat changes ownership the new owner will need to re-register the sail number in their name
• IRL numbers for Cruiser / Racers are issued in sequence from the ‘Other Sailing Class’ section of the ISA database
• The next available number will be issued for a boat
• A selected IRL number can be requested subject to availability
• These numbers are reserved for a period of 48 hours subject to payment of the appropriate fee
• The number will be released and be available for another boat if the application and fee is not completed in that time
