In addition to the swivel block and integrated cleat, this version includes a becket (a fixed eye or loop) enabling the line to exit the block and be anchored directly. That makes it highly suitable for complex control-line systems on Irish rigs: think vang cascades, traveller purchases, halyard ratchet systems or remote reefing lines.
