Description
The Nautos Stanchion Lead is a purpose-built lead block designed for attachment to a 1″ (≈ 25 mm) stanchion, helping direct control lines cleanly with minimum friction. Made with a composite housing and stainless steel components.
For Irish cruising or racing craft - where smart rigging, clean sheeting runs and corrosion - resistant gear matter - this fairlead offers a smart upgrade. It allows you to route halyards or control lines outboard of the mast-base or rig rail via stanchion attachment, reducing deck clutter and improving efficiency in variable weather and sea conditions.
Features
- Designed to clamp to a standard 1″ stanchion for flexible positioning on deck
- Composite body plus stainless-steel hardware - built for marine exposure and durability
- Low-profile and compact design helps reduce rigging bulk and snag points on deck
- Ideal for Irish/coastal sailing where conditions demand reliable, low-maintenance hardware
- Quick installation - clamp-on to stanchion means less structural modification or deck cutting
- Suitable for both leisure and club use, making it a practical addition for offshore-capable or day-sailing boats
- Complements other Nautos hardware in the control-line system for coherence in gear selection
