This is a speciality cleaner and conditioner from Nikwax, designed to deodorise and enhance the wicking and drying performance of technical base layers. Easy to use in your washing machine.

Features

Specialist cleaner for technical base layers — designed mainly for synthetic, moisture-wicking clothing worn next to the skin.

Cleans & deodorises — helps eliminate body odour and prevents odour build up rather than simply masking it with fragrance. 

Improves moisture wicking — helps technical fabrics move sweat away from the skin effectively.

Speeds up drying — treated garments can dry faster, which is useful for sports and outdoor activities.

Can improve cooling performance — better moisture spreading and evaporation can help the garment keep you comfortable during activity.

Replaces normal detergent for the activewear load — it cleans and conditions at the same time, rather than requiring a separate conditioner.

Don't use fabric softener with it — conventional fabric softeners can leave residues that reduce the wicking performance of technical fabrics.

Easy to use in a washing machine — for a front-loading machine, Nikwax recommends 50 ml and washing according to the garment's care label.

Not for waterproof clothing or merino wool — use an appropriate Nikwax product instead; Nikwax recommends Wool Wash for woollen activewear.
