Pains Wessex Inshore Flare Kit - 3 Year Expiration

Will raise alarm and pinpoint your position. For day and night use, designed for use up to 3 miles from land. Typical use: Boating day and night, sail or power upon inland, local coastal and coastal waters, up to 3 miles from land. Pains Wessex flares have a 3+ year shelf life. 

The kit contains the following signals supplied in water resistant 6 litre polybottle approx size: 360 (H) mm by 110 (W) mm.

2 X 60 second Orange hand smokes.
2 X 60 second Red 15,000 candela hand flares
1 X Waterproof Polybottle 3L

The orange waterproof signal produces a dense orange smoke for daylight distress signalling. Ideal to indicate wind direction to rescue helicopter in land or sea rescues. Burning time 60 seconds. 

The red handflare is a short-range distress signal used to pinpoint position during day or night. It burns with a light intensity of 15,000 candela for a duration of 60 seconds.
