The Quick Bow thruster 30 kg D140 1.5 kW (sometimes designated “K02”) is a robust DC tunnel thruster designed for boats around 7–9 metres in length. This model brings reliable lateral control to your bow or stern, particularly useful in strong currents or tight docking situations.

Built with Quick’s hallmark engineering, the thruster includes a hydrodynamically profiled bronze gear leg, composite counter-rotating propellers, and an elastic coupling system to optimise alignment and reduce vibration. 

Its housing is constructed for marine durability, and the design emphasizes low power consumption while delivering consistent thrust - suited to the conditions often encountered off the Irish coast. With a 140 mm tunnel diameter (D140), it fits many existing installations or can be accommodated with proper hull modifications.
