Simrad P2005 GPS System & GS70 Antenna

The Simrad® P2005 GPS System features a high-resolution 5-inch colour display with intuitive touch control, delivering accurate and reliable position data. It enables seamless distribution of position, course, speed, time, and navigation data to other bridge systems, including radar, ECDIS, and autopilot. Flexible installation is supported through a wide range of I/O signal types, while the high-contrast display ensures excellent visibility and clarity at typical viewing distances.

Combining GPS navigation and GPS compass functionality in a single solution, the P2005 and P3007 GPS System Series are designed to replace the MX612, MX610, and GN70 products. Both systems support direct antenna connections and can be expanded using the MX 610 or MX 612 Junction Box, allowing for scalable system configurations.

The P2005 GPS System is specifically targeted at workboats, light professional vessels, and other non-SOLAS applications. It is compatible with a broad selection of Simrad GPS antennas and GPS compasses, and optional serial port expansion is available via a junction box.

Both display sizes offer a comprehensive feature set, including route and waypoint management, trip logging, position and heading pages, auxiliary AIS plotting, configurable digital data pages, GPS and GLONASS support, and optional external potentiometer dimming.

In addition, the systems support a wide range of sensor inputs, including analog inputs, serial ports, NMEA 2000, Ethernet (IEC 61162-450), and pulse speed log input
