Victron Energy AGM Telecom Batteries – 12V

Victron Energy AGM Telecom batteries are heavy-duty, valve-regulated lead-acid batteries developed for telecommunications and other demanding standby or cyclic applications.

Their narrow footprint and front-access M8 terminals make them particularly suitable for racked installations and locations where conventional battery access is difficult. The compact floor-space requirement can also benefit installations aboard boats and commercial vehicles.

AGM technology holds the electrolyte within a glass-fibre mat between the battery plates. This sealed, maintenance-free construction provides low internal resistance and allows the batteries to accept high charging and discharging rates.

Lead-calcium grids and high-purity materials provide a self-discharge rate of less than 2% per month at 20°C. When stored under suitable conditions, the batteries have a shelf life of up to one year.
