Need 230 V power away from an AC connection, plus a straightforward way to recharge and monitor your battery? This Victron pack combines a Lithium SuperPack 100 Ah battery, MultiPlus 12/800/35-16 inverter/charger and BMV-712 Smart battery monitor.

The battery stores energy for your 12 V system. The MultiPlus converts battery energy into 230 V AC power for suitably sized appliances and recharges the battery when a suitable AC supply is available. The BMV-712 helps you see how much energy remains, both on its display and through the VictronConnect app.

What's included?

• 1 × Victron Lithium SuperPack 12.8 V / 100 Ah High Current — lithium iron phosphate battery with integrated Battery Management System (BMS). Victron part number: BAT512110712.
• 1 × Victron MultiPlus 12/800/35-16, 230 V — 800 VA pure sine wave inverter, battery charger with up to 35 A charging current and AC transfer function. Victron part number: PMP121800000.
• 1 × Victron BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor — battery display with built-in Bluetooth and supplied 500 A / 50 mV shunt. Victron part number: BAM030712000R.

Lithium energy storage

The SuperPack provides 100 Ah of battery capacity at 12.8 V, equivalent to approximately 1280 Wh of nominal stored energy. Its integrated BMS and internal safety switch help protect the battery against conditions including over-discharge, overcharge and high temperature.

The battery can supply correctly connected 12 V equipment and provide DC energy to the MultiPlus inverter. Actual running time depends on the power drawn by your appliances, other connected loads and system conditions.

230 V power when AC supply is unavailable

The MultiPlus produces 230 V pure sine wave AC output from the battery when external AC power is unavailable. It has an 800 VA inverter rating, with continuous real-power output specified by Victron at 700 W at 25°C and 650 W at 40°C. Check the continuous and start-up requirements of appliances before connecting them.

This model is suited to appropriately sized AC loads; it is not intended to run several high-power appliances at once. If you are planning to use a kettle, electric heater or another demanding appliance, ask CH Marine to help select a larger inverter and suitable battery capacity.

Charging and AC transfer in one unit

When a suitable 230 V AC supply is connected, the MultiPlus can charge the battery with up to 35 A and transfer AC power to the connected output. When that external supply is unavailable, the inverter can supply the output from battery power. The charging settings and AC installation must be configured for the battery and application.

See how much energy remains

The BMV-712 Smart measures current through its shunt and calculates battery information including state of charge and estimated time remaining. Check the information on the installed display or connect using Bluetooth and the VictronConnect app on a compatible device.

Its separate shunt-based measurement is useful for understanding how charging and connected loads affect the battery over time. Correct shunt placement and monitor configuration are essential for meaningful readings.

What else is required?

The pack includes the three products listed above. It is not a pre-wired installation kit. The installer must select suitable battery and AC cables, fuses, circuit protection, isolation and AC distribution for the installation. The BMV-712 shunt must be positioned so the intended charge and load currents are measured.
