Actisense NMEA 2000 Micro 4-Way Drop

The Actisense A2K-4WD-1 NMEA 2000 4-Way Instrument Drop provides a compact and efficient way to connect up to four NMEA 2000 devices located in the same area.

A conventional installation would require an individual T-connector and drop cable for every device. The A2K-4WD-1 combines four female NMEA 2000 device connections with a single 2-metre male network cable. This reduces the amount of cabling required and avoids having to route the main NMEA 2000 backbone directly behind a group of instruments.

It is particularly suitable for instrument panels, helm stations and other locations where several NMEA 2000 displays or devices are installed close together.

The rugged, halogen-free and flame-retardant housing features gold-plated contacts, metal coupling nuts and integrated EMI shielding for reliable operation in demanding marine environments.

Technical Specifications

Important Installation Note

The A2K-4WD-1 is an instrument drop and does not replace the correctly powered and terminated NMEA 2000 backbone. Its male connector must be connected to an available network T-connector or compatible backbone connection.

Unused female ports should be protected with suitable NMEA 2000 blanking caps to maintain protection against moisture and contamination.
