Actisense NMEA Self-Contained Boat Network

The Antisense A2K-SBN-2 Self-Contained Boat Network makes installing a compact NMEA 2000 system quicker and easier. Equivalent to eight individual NMEA 2000 T-connectors, the A2K-SBN-2 combines eight device connections, two termination resistors and the network power cable into one rugged unit. Simply connect the supplied 3-metre cable to the boat’s power supply and attach your compatible NMEA 2000 devices. Its compact design reduces the number of connectors and cables required, providing a neat and reliable installation where space is limited. The rugged, flame-retardant housing, metal coupling nuts and integrated EMI shielding make it suitable for demanding marine environments. The A2K-SBN-2 supports a maximum of eight NMEA 2000 devices. As the termination resistors are permanently integrated, the network cannot be extended beyond the eight available connections.

Important Installation Note

The A2K-SBN-2 is a complete, internally terminated network for a maximum of eight devices. It cannot be expanded by adding further T-connectors or backbone sections. Ensure eight connections will be sufficient for the planned system and any future equipment before installation.
