Upgrade your 12 V power system with a lithium battery you can charge from an AC supply and monitor from a convenient touchscreen. This Mastervolt pack combines the MLI Ultra 12/1250 battery, ChargeMaster Plus 12/35-3 charger and EasyView 5 display. It brings the three core components together for a monitored lithium installation on a boat, in a vehicle or in a suitable off-grid system.

Reliable energy storage: MLI Ultra 12/1250

The MLI Ultra provides 100 Ah of capacity and 1250 Wh of nominal stored energy in a 12 V lithium iron phosphate battery. Its integrated Battery Management System (BMS) monitors the cells and provides built-in protection. Battery information, including state of charge, can be shared with a correctly connected Mastervolt monitoring system.

The battery also features an integrated safety switch and thermal heating pad with low-temperature charging control. Its 15 kg weight makes it a practical choice where space and weight matter.

AC charging: ChargeMaster Plus 12/35-3

The ChargeMaster Plus charges the battery when a suitable AC supply is available, such as shore power or another correctly installed AC source. It delivers up to 35 A total charging current and supports lithium charging settings. The unit has provision for up to three battery outputs, although the total current available from the charger remains 35 A.

This is a battery charger, not an inverter. If you also want to run 230 V appliances from the battery while disconnected from AC power, you will need a suitably specified inverter.

System information at a glance: EasyView 5

The EasyView 5 adds a 4.3-inch colour touchscreen to your MasterBus system. Configure its favourite pages to see relevant battery and charging information in one place. The display also provides warnings and an alarm log, helping you keep track of the system's operation.

Planning your installation

This pack supplies the three products listed above. The final installation will also require appropriately selected electrical cables, fuses, circuit protection and any additional communication accessories needed for your layout. The EasyView 5 is supplied by Mastervolt with a MasterBus cable; the number and length of cables required for the complete system depend on the installation.
