Sowester AIS 316 Stainlesss Toggle Rigging Screws - Swageless Terminal

Sowester 316 Stainless Rigging Screws with toggle clevis and swageless terminal ends. Available in sizes from 6mm to 16mm - These are general-purpose rigging screws with many applications from boat rigging to decks and balcony rails. The rigging screw size is normally taken from the diameter of the thread.

Swageless Terminals

Swageless terminals allow the user to connect the wire without the use of special tools 

Method

1. Simply slip the body of the terminal over the full diameter of the cable.
2. Unlay the outer wires and fit the cone over the centre core.
3. Re-lay the outer wires
4. Ease the ends of the wires into the head of the fitting
5. Draw the body up to the head and screw it together.
6. Apply a light quantity of anti-seize lubricant on the male thread.
